Where will it be fitted?
A firm, flat mounting area is essential. Tell us whether the wall is brick, render or another construction and include a photograph where possible.
How much shade do you need?
Think about the direction your garden faces, when you use the patio and how the sun moves across it. Width and projection work together to shape the shaded area.
What happens in poor weather?
Retractable awnings should be closed when not in use and during unsuitable wind or rain. Sensors can provide additional reassurance but do not replace careful use.
