Product Warranty

Warranty Coverage

Standard Roller Garage Doors

Supplied with a two-year parts and labour warranty, effective from the date of installation, covering defects arising from manufacturing or workmanship.

Premium Roller Garage Doors

Supplied with a three-year parts and labour warranty, effective from the date of installation, covering defects arising from manufacturing or workmanship.

Replacement parts are covered for six months or the remainder of the existing warranty period (whichever is longer). Non-consumable replacement components (such as motors) are supplied with a six-month warranty from the date of dispatch.


Warranty Conditions

Subject to the limitations and exclusions set out below, Go Direct Doors warrants that all newly supplied doors, motors, and electronic components are free from defects in workmanship under normal use. In addition, any installation work carried out by Go Direct Doors is warranted to be free from defects in workmanship.

Any claim relating to materials, workmanship, or installation must be reported to Go Direct Doors within a reasonable period following installation.

Go Direct Doors shall not be liable for defects or failures resulting from:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Wilful damage or negligence
  • Abnormal operating conditions
  • Failure to follow operating or maintenance instructions (verbal or written)
  • Electrical work external to the product
  • Transportation or relocation not carried out by Go Direct Doors
  • Errors or omissions relating to the product
  • Alterations, adjustments, or repairs by third parties without written consent
  • Exposure to excessive physical or electrical stress
  • Impact with fixed or immovable objects during operation
  • Power failure or causes beyond the control of Go Direct Doors or its employees, agents, or subcontractors

The liability of Go Direct Doors shall not exceed the value of the product and/or services supplied, except in cases of death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Go Direct Doors shall not be responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable at the time the contract was entered into, nor for indirect or consequential losses, including (but not limited to) loss of profits or loss of opportunity.

  • Batteries
  • Light bulbs
  • Fuses
  • Sensitivity adjustments
  • Any other consumable items

Conditions of Sale and Installation

All delivery and installation dates are estimates only. Go Direct Doors accepts no liability for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, government action, industrial disputes, fire, flood, transport disruption, licensing issues, or material shortages.

In the event of a delay, Go Direct Doors reserves the right to extend delivery or installation times. If fulfilment becomes impossible, Go Direct Doors may cancel the contract without liability to either party for loss, damage, or expense.

The buyer must take reasonable steps to ensure the safety of Go Direct Doors’ representatives while on site and is responsible for routine care and maintenance of the product.

This warranty shall be deemed null and void if full payment has not been received in cleared funds for the product or associated services. Non-payment will be treated as a breach of contract, and Go Direct Doors reserves the right to seek recovery to the fullest extent permitted by law.


Nothing in this warranty affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law relating to faulty or mis-described goods. For further information, please contact your local Trading Standards Office or Citizens Advice Bureau.

This warranty is non-transferable.
